How subscription cancellations and refunds work — and why purchases between buyers and sellers are different.

Draft — not yet in force
This document is a draft awaiting the operator’s registration details and review by a qualified lawyer. Bracketed placeholders are unfilled. Please do not rely on it as a final statement of terms.
The one-line version: you can cancel a SupaBuyer subscription at any time and keep it until the period you paid for ends. Money you pay another user of the marketplace never passes through us, so we cannot refund it.
It applies to fees you pay us for a SupaBuyer plan. It does not apply to money you pay another user for goods — see section 5.
During the public beta, paid plans may be available at no charge. Where you have paid nothing, there is nothing to refund, but you can still cancel at any time.
You can cancel whenever you like from your dashboard, or by emailing support@supabuyer.in. No reason is required and no cancellation fee applies.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then move to the free plan. Your data is not deleted when you downgrade — but features tied to the paid plan stop being available, so export anything you need first.
We will refund a subscription fee in these situations:
Outside those cases, fees for a period already started are generally not refundable.
We may decline a refund where an account has breached the Terms of Service — for example fraud or spam — or where a refund is being requested repeatedly in a way that suggests abuse.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. We initiate the refund within 7 working days of approving it. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5–10 working days to show it, which is outside our control.
To request a refund, email support@supabuyer.in with your account email and the payment reference.
SupaBuyer does not process payments between buyers and sellers, hold funds in escrow, or operate a buyer-protection scheme. When you pay a seller, that money goes directly to them and never passes through us.
That means we have no ability to reverse it. Refunds, replacements, cancellations and warranties for goods are a matter between you and that seller, on whatever terms you agreed with them. Please agree those terms in writing before you pay, and be careful with advance payments.
If a seller has behaved dishonestly, do report it to us. We can act on their account and pass information to authorities on a valid order — that is how bad actors get removed — but we cannot recover your money.
If you use the invoicing tool to send a payment link, that payment is between you and your customer, collected through your own payment gateway account into your own account. We never hold it. Refunding your customer is done from your gateway dashboard under your own refund terms, and your gateway’s fees are a matter between you and them.
Email support@supabuyer.in for anything about billing. If you are not satisfied with the answer, say so in your reply and ask for it to be escalated, or open a ticket from the support page.
